Run of site - This places your banner top of page or in the right hand column throughout iDevResource.com.

Targetted - This allows you to reach developers, IT managers etc interested in one particular subject eg COM, ASP, XML, Java etc.

We offer a good value CPM considering our niche, and to date our banners show a higher than average click through of 3.6%+.

Max banner size = 10kb.
Files to be named as mycompany_box.gif or mycompany_banner.jpg.
Live hyperlink and ALT IMG tag required.
All ad banners and boxes must be relevant to niche audience. No free lotto, gambling, horoscopes, etc. All adverts will be reviewed before placement.

Newsletter Advertising

The monthly newsletter goes out to developers worldwide and includes links to all the new articles and content on the site, as well as timely news and developments within the developer world, product and book reviews, and event dates for coming months.

January 2002 - there are currently around 3000 subscribers to the newsletter.

Ads: 5 line text advert at the top of the newsletter, minimum buy is 3 issues. Adverts limited to 3 per issue.

Discussion Group Advertising

We have around 30 e-mail discussion groups covering a wide variety of languages and technologies. Advertising opportunities are available in the footer of every email sent out to every group.

Jan 2002 - there are currently around 8000 members of the discussion groups and total messages sent each month number between 250,000 and 500,000 depending on the group activity.

Only one advertiser will be accepted per month for each group - contact us for availability.

Sponsorship

Sponsorship programs establish strategic partnerships and using the power of both parties can leverage significant mutual growth.

Sponsorship can be for specific areas of the site (eg one channel) or for the whole site, depending on the target audience you wish to reach.

Sponsorship includes a dedicated area of the site about your company/services/products etc. This can include:

• Corporate overview
• Product & Service Information
• Downloads and demos of products
• Press Releases

A sponsorship can include banner advertising throughout the site, newsletter advertising for duration of sponsorship, listing in Developer Catalogue of key products, and clear indication of your sponsorship either throughout the site or within the specific channel.

Minimum sponsorship is for 6 months, and pricing is based on components required by sponsor.

Developer Catalogue

The Developer Catalogue features products, training courses, magazines and jobs of interest to professional developers. The jobs area will shortly be tied into idevjobs.com - a further resource from idevresource.com where advertising and sponsorship opportunities will shortly be available too. We plan to add further categories to the catalogue shortly.

Each product listing should be:

• A maximum of 100 words
• Include a logo or package gif/jpg (max 7kb) with ALT tag
• A live URL link

A product listing is carried for six months. Training Course dates and product price, URL etc can be changed at any time during the campaign.
