Is IIS5 quicker than IIS4?

IIS5 is somewhere round 400% quicker that IIS4. The performance increase comes from various improvements in different parts of the product and code, but probably the most important aspect is scalability. IIS5 can now take better advantages of multiple CPUS, and automatically manages a thread pool based upon the number of concurrent requests. In IIS4 the thread pool was static, and the load balancing of requests really didn't exist.
