WELCOME to the 13th issue
------------------------------------------------------------
Welcome to the iDevResource newsletter for professional
developers.
The site is run by professional developers, and offers cutting
edge articles, breaking news, forums, a developer catalogue
featuring products, training courses and jobs, humour and
much more.
Welcome to all the new subscribers this week, many of whom
appear to have found us on Tuesday judging by the huge peak on
the site traffic for that day! It's been a busy week again
on the site and also behind the scenes. We look forward to
being able to announce a variety of ASP applications which
have come out of the development of the site very soon.
Please contact us at [email protected] if you wish
to write full-length articles, FAQ's, or Byte Size, or have
other contributions. We are still looking to get the
international communities rolling and anyone interested in
moderating a community or a forum should contact
[email protected].
We welcome your feedback and suggestions, please send them
to mailto:[email protected]

NEW THIS WEEK
------------------------------------------------------------
There are now over 60 people signed up to the COM+
competition to win $2000. A newsletter has been sent out
to all who have registered for writing. Several email
addresses were incorrectly filled out on the registration
form so if you have not received a confirmation email for
your registration, please re-register.
The first MSMQ articles have started arriving and we look
forward to receiving more for the MSMQ competition detailed
on https://www.idevresource.com/thisweek.asp
The NEWS database has been updated again to include a search
facility and several new categories. If you wish to get
your news - announcements of new products, upgrades,
company news, or even just a new article on your website
which will be of interest to the community, just send
your press release with:
URL, headline, text and which channel you wish to see
your news under to [email protected]. It's free
so don't miss this opportunity to get your news out
to professional developers.
More signs that you are taking COM too seriously have been
submitted by Aravind Corera - check them out at
https://www.idevresource.com/com/etc/humour.asp. Thanks
Aravind!
