Webrings on iDevResource.com What is a webring? For full explanations of webrings, go to webring.org. A quick description is that webrings unite websites with similar information, or on similar subjects, and allow visitors interested in that subject to navigate around the ring to find other sites of interest. Best of all, they are FREE! iDevResource.com hosts the Developers' webring and the COM, COM+ and DCOM webring. We are also a member of the ASP Webring.
How hard do you find it searching for COM websites on the Net? Easy, Difficult or Impossible?! If you have the perennial .com problem when searching on COM (every site with a .com address can show up in your search!), then you need to check out this webring. We aim to include all sites which cover COM, COM+ and DCOM material in the ring to make life easier for sites to be found, and for developers to find the COM information they need. Welcome to the COM, COM+, DCOM webring. You can join the webring here by completing the form. Sites in the webring need to be of interest to developers working with the disciplines mentioned. NEWS: 25/01/00 In under two weeks of existence, there have been almost 1000 visitors to the COM webring. If you have a COM-related site or product, this is the place to be! Once you have submitted your site, there is still a little more work to do. You need to put the webring code on to the main page of your site for the webring to work. Do not alter the code EXCEPT to change the ID# and your name and other options. Once you have posted the code into your site, the webring manager will evaluate your site, which usually is complete within two or three days, and if you have the webring code on your main page and the site is up to spec, then your site will be added to the webring. Thanks for joining! This is how the webring details will appear on your page:
